Marcus Chen

Founder & Lead Technical Reviewer

Network Architect involved in the streaming industry since 2010. Marcus specializes in analyzing server stability, video compression standards (HEVC/H.265), and the infrastructure behind modern IPTV services.

Biography

Marcus Chen founded IPTV Provider in 2020 with a single goal: to bring transparency to the unregulated world of internet television. Frustrated by the prevalence of unstable, fly-by-night providers, Marcus utilized his background in Enterprise Network Engineering to develop a rigid testing methodology for IPTV services.

Prior to this, Marcus worked as a Senior Network Engineer for a major US Telecommunications provider, where he helped optimize Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) for peak-hour streaming traffic. His deep understanding of UDP multicast and HLS protocols allows him to identify the technical bottlenecks that cause buffering—something most reviewers miss.

Today, he leads a team of 4 researchers who stress-test services daily. Marcus personally reviews all technical audits published on the site.
